Rwanda LF & HGV Conferences Summer 2011

Tue, 08/30/2011 - 12:58pm -- mriches

Manuel & Karine Rapold (CfC Lausanne, Switzerland) with Marc Hausmen (pastor, Le Sentier, Switzerland) led Living Free and Hearing God's Voice conferences in Rwanda this summer 2011. This is a follow up trip to previous ministry this past winter. They led three conferences. A pastor's LF conference with 44 delegates, a HGV conference with 60 university students, and a LF conference for 34 women leaders. The following are excerpts of testimonies from a few of the delegates from the conferences.

“All the problems that this country has gone through are on the shoulders of the pastors. . . . to pray with those who have been traumatized, . . . We have received a big help.”

“Often I was fearful, I was afraid that people would attack me because of the ministry I am doing. Now I go home with new courage. . . . This will be a big help in the work we are doing.”

“Through these teachings a part of me has been transformed. . . ."

“When I came here, my heart was heavy because of many hard experiences and situations. . . . Now I feel as light as a butterfly.”

“After these days, I can say with confidence that God speaks. . . and this is how I want to live from now on."

"God has spoken to me through my friends in my group. This has given me great joy. . . .Now I understand that God speaks to those who take the time to listen to Him.”

Continue to pray for the Christians and especially the Christian leaders in Rwanda. Pray for Manuel and us to receive God's wisdom as to how we can best provide ministry and materials for equipping the Christians in Rwanda.

There are a few photos from their ministry time in the photo gallery.
